And so my friend saw me pull out my camera...

...and hunch down at the blank side of the cinderblock building.

"You see things. I don't." she stated.

Does that camera in you pocket (Mine doesn't fit in the pocket any more.) make you observe differently? see more?

I hear the same comment all the time. My camera is on me and I never stop looking.
