Barnwatch

I love this barn which sits near the freeway in Sunnyside. It was moved to this hill when the freeway was constructed, and there were various rumors about what it was going to be made into. That was about 30 years ago, and it still sits. I hope it sits there for a long time so I can look at it when I go by, but any chance of it being made into a restaurant or anything else have deteriorated like its siding.

Barn Watch against a spring sky. See other SkyWatchers here.
And hopefully this makes sense of the previous post, which was supposed to be scheduled for tomorrow.

Unusual barn and very photogenic. It seems and expensive endevor to more it and just let it sit.

Fantastic shot and lighting! Very nice contrast of the barn against the blue sky and cottony clouds. :)

Too bad it is just there not being used. It is a nice looking barn.

Have a fantastic Friday!

Would have made a great restaurant: country cooking, interesting views - mmmmm.

Great looking barn! It's hard not to photograph them while driving through the countryside. Let us know if anything happens there!

I can never resist a barn shot, and that is one great barn. Wonder why they went to all the trouble to move it and it doesn't looked like it is being used the way a barn should be used (animals and hay)! thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day!

You mention the barn is beside a freeway. It looks so bucolic and remote. Photography is like that. Images get lifted out of context to create the great beauty as you have done here.
