We have lived in the Yakima Valley for over thirty years, raised our kids here, worked here, worshipped here, played here, volunteered here, and now retired here. It's a good place to live.
I plan to visit the various small towns of the valley--and even Yakima itself sometimes--to share a glimpse of what is good and what is problematical here.
I am a Grandma blogger, posting some regular stuff on some regular blogs--photos and memes. Most recently I have primarily participated in a weekly header challenge, but hopefully I will get back to more regular blogging again.
I'm guessing, and could be wrong, but this image appears to be of the sky reflected in the creek with a plane passing above? Very creative in any case:)
No, it's just one of those strange circle you sometimes get in photos. Some people say they are spirits, but I don't buy that. A reflection around a bit of dust, I would imagine.

Great photo! Happy SWF!
Lovely deep blue sky against those very juicy green leaves. Works for me.
Looks like an insect or something caught in the twigs... very aeronautical today. Looking down, looking up.
Great blue sky and the among the branches you find a jet. Too cool. I was just down the Canyon Rd. playing in the Yakima River. Beautiful and HOT. MB
lovely combo of elements - nice SWF shot!
The colours are beautiful.

Absolute Beauty!
Nice SWF picture.
That's beautiful. I love the blue.
I've tried many times to photograph airplanes and can never get it like this! Great photo!
Superb photo! Eye-catching colors and interesting composition.
The airplane was also hidden. I wonder how many people actually saw it.

I love the contrast in color.
I had to look for the airplane . . . but I love that beautiful blue sky and it looks like a full moon to me on the upper left edge. . . is it?

Really love how the blue shade changes as it gets closer to the sun. Very nice.
