Ducks Unexpected!

I did not expect to meet ducks in this little canal on my walk yesterday. In fact, I did not expect to see water there at this time of year. The ducks did not expect to see me, either, and set off to swim away. When I got ahead of them and tried to establish myself to get a shot of them headed toward me, they changed their minds and went back the other direction.
